During
normal days, outside holidays of celtism and the worldwide calendar
holidays – which are also celebrated by Celts – Duanda and their
army practise their religion by:
1)caring
for all six types of geographical formations
This
is practised by visiting the six kinds of formations which are
nearest to the home of a Celt, and a home always must be within the
walking distance from all six types (swamps, meadows, mountains,
forests, seas, lakes). This is actually the second law of
homebuilding, in addition to obligatory growth of hazel and mistletoe
in the home area.
During
visits, Celts perform cleaning, repairments, and protective magical
spells. Two most important magical spells for natural care are: spell
of Mistletoe, which enforces relations between all elements of a
given geographical formation, and spell of Hazel, which enforces
strength of all its elements. Spell of Mistletoe is performed by
drawing a sign of mistletoe on the ground in the middle of the
formation or in its four corners (or in a middle of its closest
brink, if the formation is very large), and same for spell of Hazel.
A mistletoe sign is a line with a dot under it, same as exclamation
mark, and a hazel sign is a hook with a dot under it, same as
question mark. These signs stem from knowledge that love (symbolised
by mistletoe) is something to be loud about, and that lore
(symbolised by hazel) is an art of provocation.
2)caring
for animals
This
is practised by simple social actions of feeding and medical care,
among others, plus by special magical rites. The magical rites
encompass singing special songs which magically enable talking to
animals or cause magical protection of animals, as well as drawing
signs of mistletoe and hazel on the area inhabited by animals, but
with stars and moons instead of dots. The signs with stars establish
bonds with animals and the signs with moons physically defend
animals.
3)caring
for weather
This
is practised by singing magical chants upon arrival of new weather
and by celebrations of new weathers through dancing at common
gatherings. Celts traditionally organize sudden get-togethers
whenever a rain or storm starts, whenever a rainbow appears, whenever
a mist begins. Even if the weather phenomenon is short in length, it
is always an initiative to commence a gathering, and if that's not
possible, then instead Celts utter prayers and sing songs. Prayers
are individual speeches directed towards the given weather
phenomenon, and are based on general worship of weather in celtism.
4)caring
for nature elements
This
is practised by creating artworks, which is a way of repairing the
world in celtism. If a Celt wants to increase the powers of natural
elements, like stars and moons, or animals, or weathers, and so one,
he creates artworks representing them. Such artworks are then
installed in special magical frames, and the frames consist of
scultped signs which carry magical spells onto the phenomenons
represented in the artworks. Aside mistletoe and hazel signs in its
two forms (classical and starred/mooned), there are also a sign of
kuna, which is XXII, and a sign of road cross, which is two crossed lines
with a circle. Kuna sign brings health and riches, and road cross sign
brings immortality and freedom. If an artwork can not be framed, then
it must include the chosen magical signs in itself.
